Deep Space Rescue
A downloadable game
Deep Space Rescue is a bullet-heaven tower-defense hybrid — your station is stationary, but everything else escalates. Enemies pour in from every edge of the screen in waves that only get harder, and your only real weapon is the run itself: level up, pick an upgrade card, and watch your station turn from a single laser into a screen-clearing storm of orbiting blades, chain lightning, homing missiles, and worse.
Core loop
- Survive, level up, choose from randomized upgrade cards — stack damage, unlock new weapons, or go all-in on a build-defining rare/epic pick.
- Up to 12 weapons to discover and combine (within your weapon slot limit), from the humble auto-firing Laser to Ball Lightning, Energy Disruptor's enemy-scrambling pulses, and the screen-nuking EMP.
- Place defences — turrets, spike traps, a salvage-boosting relay — to cover the angles your weapons can't.
- Fight mini-bosses for reward chests, and hunt down blueprint bosses for rare craftable weapon variants.
- Call for rescue when things get desperate, or ride the escalation as long as you can survive.
Between runs
- Spend earned gold on permanent upgrades — max HP, damage, fire rate, crit chance, weapon slots, and more.
- Unlock new starting weapons, each with its own passive kit and playstyle.
- Buy one-run consumables before you drop in: repairs, a damage boost, reroll and banish charges, and more.
No twin-stick movement, no dodging — just you, the station, and the choices you make as the swarm gets worse. How long can you hold the line?
